About Irrigation

In order for our planting schemes to remain healthy and given that our planting schemes are often positioned in challenging locations, we have developed a range of irrigation solutions.

Technical Information

We combine nature and technology to ensure our installations can grow and remain healthy no matter where they are positioned in the built environment.

Technical advances in connectivity over the past 5 years enable us to remotely monitor performance and control irrigation.

A combination of sensors monitoring soil temperature, moisture, flow rates and water level provide our engineers with a live feed of information.

With the use of state-of-the-art sensors and ‘smart’ design, we are able to ensure that the right amount of water is used for each application.

Our scope of work is not only restricted to our bespoke installations. We also install irrigation systems for large commercial projects, living walls and green roofs.

Our design team advises on all technical aspects of the scheme from the installation of rainwater harvesting tanks and filters, to the specification of misters and pressure-regulated pipe work which will deliver water to the correct area at the right time.

Harnessing Free Water

Wherever possible we recommend the use of rainwater harvesting as a sustainable route to plant health.

Our team is highly skilled in the installation of rainwater harvesting and the maintenance of these systems.

This Living Wall that we installed at London Bridge is entirely serviced using rainwater from the roof, fed via the orange downpipe into a harvesting tank in the basement. Any surplus irrigation run-off is recycled back onto the living wall.

We offer a full irrigation maintenance service. Our specialist teams can deliver bespoke maintenance packages for all our clients.

Focus on seasonal calibration is essential along with our use of intelligent irrigation systems, monitoring water use and alerting our teams to any areas which require our expert attention.

Our irrigation technicians specialise in correcting failed irrigation systems, refurbishing and replacing existing poorly performing systems to bring landscapes and living walls back to full vitality.
