After one year’s apprenticeship at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, in 1984 Angus joined the ranks of the self-employed and started spinning the Scotscape plate with a Garden Maintenance round in Wimbledon.
Over the years ambitious, like minded individuals have joined the team and enabled Scotscape to occupy a strong position at forefront of the Urban Greening market.
With demand healthy in this sector and an extremely competitive team who are producing great results, it is an exciting time for the business

Having worked in construction for 8 years, Kevin joined Scotscape in September 2011 as an irrigation engineer.
He worked on projects throughout the Scotscape Group of Companies managing irrigation installations for large landscaping projects, green roofs and living walls.
Kevin soon found a strong connection to the vertical gardening trend & has led projects installing thousands of meters of lush green walls across the UK and Europe.
Kevin’s tenure at Scotscape has seen him progress through the ranks from Irrigation Engineer to Contracts Manager, Director & now MD of Smartscape.

Steve has been involved in regenerating inner cities through to creating holiday parks within forests all throughout the UK for 38 years.
He joined Scotscape in 2017 having been drawn to their ethos of improving our surroundings with horticulture.

After completing his Landscape Garden Management degree at Askham Bryan, he managed a large private estate in Yorkshire followed by a number of horticultural jobs in New Zealand,
Darren joined Scotscape as a Contracts Manager in 2012.
His career progression has taken to him to head up our Special Projects division.
His ambition is to firmly put horticulture on the career map & support youngsters entering the industry….not to mention raising his young family.
We often wonder where he finds the energy!

Jake studied RICS accredited Real Estate at Westminster University, which established his insight into the construction industry from a developer’s perspective, whilst also forming his knowledge of surveying.
It was whilst studying sustainable urban development that his passion for architecture & construction merged with his background in landscaping & horticulture, leaving a clear pathway.
Having joined our estimating team in 2017, his commitment and drive has made for rapid progress to our senior management team as our Commercial Director.

Working in the landscape maintenance industry for over 10 years, Davinder brings a wealth of knowledge and experience including a number of BALI awards.
With qualifications in Horticulture and passion for plants Davinder joined Scotscape in 2020 as our Operations Manager to take responsibility for our extensive Living Wall portfolio in UK and Europe. Davinder is passionate and driven and keeps the standards extremely high!

Having completed the Royal Parks Apprenticeship in 1994 he become full time gardener & greenkeeper at Greenwich Park, moving on to work with Bexley Council as senior team leader. In 2004 Graeme joined Scotscape as grounds maintenance team leader. He now leads our Tram team for TFL specialising in vegetation management.

Jake has worked in hard landscaping firms since 2014 & joined Scotscape in 2019, finding a passion working for plants and horticultural care. He has a strong connection with his teams and strives for the highest quality of work whilst fostering a positive team culture. The quality of Jakes work has led him to be promoted to Contracts Manager, overlooking contracts and ensuring all schemes are maintained to the highest standard.

Santhosh has been in the horticulture industry for more than 22 years, managing landscape installations, nurseries and irrigation projects in the Middle East and Europe.
His passion for horticulture, knowledge of plants and irrigation in keeping plants healthy in hot countries ensures he can use his full range of skills!
With our growing portfolio of urban greening projects, Santosh manages our technicians and horticulturalists in keeping our Living Walls healthy.

Phil worked as a landscape gardener in Bradford & relocated to London where he joined Scotscape Groundscape in 2012, firstly as a gardener rising quickly to team leader at our Woolwich site. In 2021 Phil has now been promoted to Site Supervisor & brings his enviable horticultural know how to our teams & clients. A great personality and valued member of our team.

Tom grew up in the mountains of the Cape, South Africa, one of the six floral kingdoms of the world. He was always fascinated by the tapestry nature weaved and the importance of plants in our lives, from beautiful displays of colour, edible crops, spicing food and medicinal uses.
Seeing plants growing in unusual places inspired him to recreate these in our urban concrete jungles.
Tom has responsibility for the ‘Smart’ in Smartscape as we continually clutch at his shirt tails with regard to the advanced technology he brings to ensuring our plants remain healthy in challenging locations.

Kyleigh joined us in 2022 and has brought a calm authority to the myriad of important tasks that get bundled up under the role of Office manager. Very little happens without the knowledge of Kyleigh as she enables the Scotscape hub to run smoothly.
