Scotscape worked closely with Plexal and the main building contractors Paragon to develop this unique living wall island structure positioned centrally in this massive innovation centre complex. Throughout the remainder of the complex Scotscape has also installed and currently maintains the additional interior planting.

The living wall island houses an essential air ducting passage, offering a perfect solution to conceal building services and also doubles up this functionality as a display unit with a hd screen wall. Plexal sought after a simple contemporary scheme that would act as an attractive focal point as well provide the busy enterprise space with a welcome boost of oxygen, hence the inclusion of multiple air cleaning plants such as spathiphyllum that are highly effective in trapping and absorbing pollutants in the air.

This double sided living wall structure acts as a landmark point in the interior streetscape for visitors and clients alike, a beacon of nature for all to enjoy.
