Motcomb Street has recently benefited from significant public realm improvements, including pedestrianisation, working with the Landscaping team at Grosvenor, Scotscape have installed this streetscape in accordance with the Greening Strategy for Grosvenor created by landscape architects BDP.
We commissioned a total of 45 planters were fabricated from 3.0mm Aluminium, with a Polyester Powder Coat [PPC] finish to RAL 7002 [Umbra grey]. The planters were essentially to IOTA standard design; but they also included a plinth detail [to create a 50 x 50mm shadow gap], plus adjustable feet.
Motcomb Street forms part of the Grosvenor Estate in the City of Westminster's Belgravia district in London. The street is known for its luxury fashion shops, such as Christian Louboutin shoes, Stewart Parvin gowns, and the jeweller Carolina Bucci; and it was the location of the original Pantechnicon department store, which was reopened in 2019.
