Installed on the exterior side of the wall of a railway track in the Plaza Levante, this huge exterior living wall measures 320 m² and is in the heart of the district of Deusto in Bilbao.

The landscape design created by URBASER, takes inspiration from the cliffs of the Cantabrian coast and the local architecture, integrating nature and tradition.

The wall incorporates 8,900 plants from a selection of 37 different species, which inject biodiversity straight into the local neighbourhood. Other benefits include reduction of the urban heat island effect and improved acoustics. The garden was officially opened by the City Council of Bilbao at the end of 2015.
