We were delighted to be awarded ‘highly commended’ for our LivingPillar®️ entry for the Innovation Award at the CIRIA Big Biodiversity Awards Challenge!
CIRIA is the Construction Industry Research and Information Association. A neutral, independent and not-for-profit body.
The Innovation Award, sponsored by Heathrow was the most hotly contested of the prizes on offer and is due return for the 5 years of development of our innovative product which is now being used across the Uk to help encourage biodiversity back into our cities.
A number of our projects were judged including the eye catching Carnaby Street living wall but it was the LivingPillar®️ which edged it as an innovative solution, powered by solar, to support long term shrub and perennial planting high up on lamp posts, to help us form biodiversity corridors to join up our green spaces.
The award ceremony was appropriately held at the London Wetland Centre - a stunning example of what can be created to encourage biodiversity by being innovative and resourceful.
It was a wonderful event and lovely to meet so many like minded people who are passionate about what they do and striving to make a difference.
If you wish to learn more about our LivingPillar®️, and how it can help us encourage biodiversity into our cities, do join us on 4th December at 1pm on our webinar where our founder, Angus Cunningham, explains the concept and takes us on the developmental journey of this innovative, game changing product.
