Our founder and CEO, Angus Cunningham, was asked to be a guest speaker for a recent webinar hosted by Reclaim, a £1.2m EPSRC-funded Network+ grant. It is led by the University of Surrey’s Global Centre for Clean Air Research in collaboration with the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology and the Universities of Bath, Bangor and Warwick.
Angus's talk, “Breathing life into cities via living walls, living pillars and micro-forests”, focused on the Scotscape innovative urban greening solutions and how they can help mitigate pollution in our cities whilst also encouraging biodiversity.
Angus was joined by Maarten van Reeuwijk, Professor in Urban Fluid Mechanics at Imperial College London, who talked about Urban Trees.
