Living Walls for Schools

Living Walls are great for schools!

This fantastic living wall which we installed at Hampton School in November 2018 measures 20m2.

The benefits of this living wall to localised air quality, biodiversity and improved acoustics are good news to this wonderful school project. Views of nature are part of biophilic design principles and certainly help stressed students in the school environment. Added to this the proven air quality improvements that specifying plants can bring - living walls and schools are a perfect match!

The Mayor of London supports the benefits of specifying plants and vertical greening into schools - knowing that air quality improvements are crucial for our young people. With rocketing asthma cases in London's school age children it is encouraging to have this support from local government, boosted by the air quality fund to help schools to improve localised air quality.
